I opened the practice in March 2005, making us the longest established practice in Balbriggan. We cater for all patient types: PRSI, Private, Medical Card and children. My father PJ Lynam has run his practice in Swords (swordsdental.com) for forty years. We aim to develop a personal relationship with our patients to create a friendly and relaxing environment. We try to explain each possible treatment option using photos and computers and then make the treatment as gentle and pain-free as possible. We use state of the art equipment and the best materials but try to keep the cost of the treatment as low as possible. I like to work on the principle of: If this was my tooth how would I treat it? Patients covered on PRSI are entitled to a free examination each year. The government have abolished the other entitlements these patients were previously eligible for. I have cut our prices to minimise the effect of this on our patients. Medical Card patients are entitled to free dental treatment. If you're having pain, don't be afraid to call us or come in to the practice. We're happy to fit in emergency treatments. Early morning and evening appointments are available. Dentists have a bad reputation, if you're worried about dental treatment please come in and have a chat with us and we'll try to rectify that!
